Theater Instructor, Bryan Campione brought a group of Quad campers on a field trip to a special matinee showing of Addy and Uno on Broadway this week.
Students traveled to Broadway row to take their seats for this one-of-a-kind show, featuring some very special characters. The playbill boasts, "As Uno, a child with autism, faces the challenge of competing in his school's math competition, his friends with varying disabilities - ADHD, visual, hearing and physical impairment - rally in support. Through puppets and soaring music, Addy & Uno is a heartfelt and hilarious journey celebrating hope, big dreams, and the beauty of differences." After the show, Quad students traveled back stage for a special Q&A and meet and greet with the puppeteers!
Campione is the founder of Broadway Buzz and joins The Quad Manhattan this summer as a talent development specialist in the theater department. A Buffalo native, Campione brings enthusiasm and opportunity to The Quad's twice-exceptional students each and every day.
